French Bistro restaurant in Subiaco for Emmanuel Mollois (pictured). Regretfully Emmanuel is now deceased, and we wish his wife Gordana all the best in France, and his young boys Zlatan and Louise, and his daughter Maya. Zlatan (14) was born on the same day as our son Angus, and Maya was born the day after our daughter Jade, in the same ward in St John of God Subiaco.
Emmanuel had his heart set on Bistro des Artistes providing good, cheap food, fast, like a traditional French bistro. This was at odds with his French business partner who was intent on fine dining, and they split after 2 years. Emmanuel took his family back to France because he was diagnosed with cancer and perhaps he thought his family stood a better chance with his extended family in France. Emmanuel published two cookbooks, ‘Patissier’ and ‘et Voila!’
